Cocoa Picante Hot Chocolate

Long before Europeans crafted chocolate into the bars common today, ancient civilizations drank spicy concoctions of chocolate with chilies, spices and honey. The Summit Spice & Tea Co. in Anchorage, Alaska has come up with their own version, it is excellent as is, mixed with coffee or spiked with spiced rum.

Ingredients: Dutched cocoa, organic unrefined cane sugar, ground New Mexican chili, sea salt.
