Organic Alaska Birch Syrup

Price: From $7.50 to $19.75

Alaska Pure Birch & Birch Breakfast Syrups are rare treats from the boreal forest in Alaska's Susitna Valley, the vast and beautiful river valley of the Alaska Range.
Each spring Kahiltna Birchworks collects and boils down the sap from the birch trees on thier homestead
along the Kahiltna River, in the shadow of Denali.
We have traditionally used the resulting deep, velvety syrup on sourdough pancakes.
Over the years we have found the distinctive flavor of birch syrup to be excellent in marinades and barbeque sauces,
in a brine for smoking salmon, as a sweetener in corn bread and desserts,
and best of all, poured over winter squash, fruit, or ice cream.
With very limited production, birch syrup is a rare and unique Alaskan delicacy.
Many uses of this fine syrup have yet to be discovered...
Birch syrup production promotes sustainable use of Alaska's forest resources. Be creative & enjoy!
Certified Organic by the Washington State Department of Agriculture.
Each style of syrup available in 8 oz and 4 oz glass jars.
